James (Jim) Leaper, USAF Veteran

Jim has spent over 40 years in the energy sector and focused on HVAC controls for most of his career.
He is a pioneer in the field of energy auditing and utility rebates establishing baseline energy usage and analyzed software with his team for the DOE and public utilities. Less than 10 years later Jim engineered, designed, and implemented BAS controls and metering for the Walt Disney Imagineering Campus. Soon after Fox Television Studios and Paramount Pictures followed in Hollywood, CA as well as Citi-Bank Data Center in Las Vegas.
Jim was the VP and international distributor of Plexus Technology, Inc. from 2002-2009 where he managing building automation and integration projects for GSA on numerous federal facilities. In 2010 Jim became CEO of Plexus Technologies, LTD (England & USA) developing a network of over 45 international independently owned BAS integration companies. In 2017 Jim merged Plexus Technology, Inc. with two other North American BAS Software & Hardware development and Distribution Companies to create OPIX Systems, LLC with a focus on federal projects.
